Stakeholder Engagement/Regulatory Information

A key objective of the Alaska Pipeline Project is to achieve positive, long-term relationships with Alaska Native, Canadian First Nations and other aboriginal groups and other communities along the project corridor. We believe these relationships will be realized through active communications and engagement as the project progresses.

Multifaceted Engagement

Successful stakeholder engagement is multifaceted and should be designed to facilitate communication and build long-term positive relationships. Communication must be transparent, accurate and timely, incorporating two-way dialog on both a local and regional level. Relationships are developed when parties demonstrate a willingness to openly share information and ideas. The Alaska Pipeline Project’s Environmental, Regulatory and Land teams understand that this will require on-going communications and relationship building.
