The philanthropist wife of billionaire Megha Krishna Reddy, she marked her debut at the Met Gala in a Falguni & Shane Peacock ensemble. The designer-duo created a metallic gold body-hugging gown with a shimmering 4-meter flared trail that featured a medley of hues borrowed from the American flag and was varnished with 3D adornments of Swarovski crystals, sequins and bugle beads.Falguni Shane Peacock said that it took over 250 hours to create the piece.Reddy paired the outfit with jewellery by Farah Khan. The jewellery designer crafted a custom statement ear piece called ‘Dreamy Decadence’, in 18 kt gold with 35 carats of VVS diamonds, that drew inspiration from the stars in the American flag. The director of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) shared several behind the scene pictures on her Instagram Stories, captioning one of them, “It takes an army.”

Sudha Reddy’s BTS shots showed her getting prepped for the gala event.

Another BTS shot showed a bathtub filled with flower petals, that Reddy aptly titled, “Me time before Met time.”
